Cyberpunk 2077 expansion is coming next year

CD Project Red is currently knee-deep in projects, and we can only hope that all of them succeed. After announcing that they are working on a new The Witcher game that will use the Unreal Engine 5, they have revealed that an in-house team will finish the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which was in the hands of Saber Interactive. A single-player mode for their card game inspired by the universe of The Witcher, Gwent, is also in the works, and several other side projects will have them quite busy in the coming months. But if all that wasn't enough, the Polish developer studio has just announced that the first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 will launch next year.

We already knew that Cyberpunk 2077 would get an expansion. In fact, we expected it to be released earlier, but the huge amount of work needed to fix the disastrous launch of the game delayed all post-launch plans. CD Projekt Red has not revealed much about the coming expansion yet. The developer says it will feature a new storyline and that other DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077 are in the works.
