    Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure from the creators of Black Desert Online. The game narrates the story of a group of mercenaries that struggle to survive in a world torn apart by war. You will play as Macduff, son of Martinus, the leader of a group of hardened mercenaries. Pywel is a vast continent divided into several regions. The King of Demeniss, Unifier of Lands, lies in a coma and the power vacuum has led to the rebellion of those that suffered under his rule. Everyone is trying to take advantage of the situation and there are plenty of opportunities to gain power if you are smart and strong enough. But the journey is dangerous, and you will need to find friends that will support you in your endeavors and gain their trust if you want to survive in this world.

    On the gameplay side, Crimson Desert feels very similar to Black Desert Online, and it features thrilling combats in which you will fight against a wide range of enemies, including humans and mythical beasts of all kinds. The game offers you an impressive range of customization options and weapons to wield in combat.

    Crimson Desert divise, mais malgré quelques défauts, il m'impressionne par son moteur graphique, son monde immense et son exploration captivante. Le gameplay, notamment les combats et les systèmes interactifs, procure un fort sentiment de liberté et de découverte, éclipsant une histoire plus que classique et mal amenée. Cependant, les dév' sont aux taquets afin de corriger les divers problèmes depuis le lancement et avec un peu de chance on aura des améliorations sur les systèmes qui font grincer des dents
    Crimson Desert is divisive, but despite a few shortcomings, it impresses me with its graphics engine, immense world and captivating exploration. The gameplay, in particular the combat and interactive systems, provides a strong sense of freedom and discovery, overshadowing a story that is more than classic and poorly presented. However, the devs are working hard to correct the various problems since launch, and with a bit of luck we'll have improvements on the systems that make people cringe.

    Le jeu propose un monde ouvert immense et vivant avec des combats très dynamiques et satisfaisants qui donnent vraiment de bonnes sensations, mais l’ensemble reste parfois un peu confus à cause de mécaniques pas toujours claires et d’une narration encore moyenne, ce qui laisse une impression globale très prometteuse mais pas totalement maîtrisée

    Explorer le monde de Crimson Desert est pour moi le coeur de l’expérience. Le jeu propose un univers vaste, détaillé et visuellement impressionnant. Chaque région semble avoir sa propre identité, et il y a toujours quelque chose à découvrir, même au détour d’un simple chemin. J’aime prendre mon temps, observer les paysages, me perdre volontairement. Cette sensation de liberté est l’un des plus grands points forts du jeu. Malheureusement, tout ce qui entoure cette exploration n’est pas toujours à la hauteur. Les quêtes ne sont pas très travaillé, et certaines interactions manquent de profondeur. On a parfois l’impression que le monde est plus beau que réellement vivant. Malgré cela, l’immersion fonctionne, et j’ai passé de longs moments à simplement parcourir cet univers. Un bon jeu mais qui aurait mérité des quêtes façon The Witcher 3
    For me, exploring the world of Crimson Desert is the heart of the experience. The game offers a vast, detailed and visually impressive universe. Each region seems to have its own identity, and there's always something to discover, even at the turn of a simple path. I love taking my time, observing the landscapes, getting lost on purpose. This sense of freedom is one of the game's greatest strengths. Unfortunately, everything that surrounds this exploration isn't always up to scratch. The quests aren't very well worked out, and some of the interactions lack depth. At times, the world seems more beautiful than alive. Despite this, immersion works, and I spent many long moments simply wandering through this universe. A good game, but would have deserved The Witcher 3-style quests.
