CDPR details what's coming with Phantom Liberty

The upcoming release of the first and only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 has all fans of the game excited. Developer CD Projekt Red has revealed many of the features coming with the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion, but as we told you in a previous article, many novelties will be available to all those who own the base game whether they purchase the expansion or not. These novelties will be added to the base game in the form of a sizeable update that will be released at the same time as the expansion.

The improvements to the gameplay and new gameplay mechanics coming to Cyberpunk 2077 are significant enough to be worthy of a new playthrough if you already enjoyed V's epic adventure at least once. They will allow for a very different experience in many fields, although the new spy thriller storyline will be available to expansion holders only.

Somehow, the range of features coming to the game for free and the ones included in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty are being mixed by some players. As a result, CD Projekt Red has confirmed who will be able to access each new feature in a publication via Twitter.

It's worth noticing that most of the features that include major changes to the gameplay systems will be included in the free Update 2.0.
