Total War: Warhammer III will have more legendary heroes

All those with some experience in the Total War: Warhammer series know that Creative Assembly often launches additional content for its games in the form of DLC to add new factions and legendary lords to their games. Total War: Warhammer III is not different from its predecessors on this matter, and the latest installment in the critically acclaimed strategy series can already be expanded with the Champions of Chaos and Ogre Kingdoms DLC. These add new factions, special units, and legendary lords with new mechanics to the game. 

Creative Assembly recently revealed that the Chaos Dwarfs will be added to Total War: Warhammer III with an upcoming DLC. We have only seen them manning the Hellcannons in the armies under the banner of the Ruinous Powers so far, and they will be a very interesting addition to the game with their firepower. But the Chaos Dwarfs are not the only novelty coming to Total War: Warhammer III. 

New legendary heroes 

During an interview with The Rookery, Creative Assembly narrative designer Andy Hall talked about the content coming to the game in the future.

"We have done some Legendary Heroes now and they proved quite popular, so we will certainly continue with that category. With Legendary Lords they're your avatar in this world, they're meant to be you're roleplaying as them, so it makes sense to try and bring as many of those Warhammer celebrities into that role as possible. Even if, like Deathmaster Snikch, they're typically not generals, they're loners. But again, we're following in the footsteps of the tabletop. They do that as well."

The legendary heroes may not lead massive armies, but they are powerful enough to turn the tide of the battle in your favor as a single unit. Also, their actions out of combat have a significant impact on the course of your campaign in Total War: Warhammer III and their mere presence adds a lot of flavor to the game, as they are renowned characters in the game's universe.
