Developed by RGG Studio, STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is an ambitious action-adventure experience that follows an extraordinary fifty-year journey through a transforming Japan.

The story begins in San Francisco in 1915, where Makoto Daito, a young man of mixed American and Japanese heritage, finds himself alone after losing his parents and facing relentless discrimination. Desperate to find a place where he can belong, he secretly boards a ship bound for Japan, his mother's homeland. However, his arrival marks the beginning of a journey far more dangerous and unpredictable than he could have imagined.

Travel across five distinct eras and cities, from the industrial streets of Kokura in 1915 to Kure in 1929, Minami in 1943, Atami in 1951, and the bustling streets of Shinjuku in 1965. Each setting offers a unique atmosphere, shaped by changing times, cultural influences, and the people whose lives become intertwined with Makoto's.

Survival demands more than courage. Face brutal confrontations using an intense combat system that combines powerful attacks, weapons, and environmental interactions. Beyond the violence, discover another side of Makoto's journey through music and show business, where talent, ambition, and performance open doors to an entirely different world.

As friendships are forged, rivalries emerge, and ambitions collide, every chapter brings new challenges and unexpected encounters. With its cinematic storytelling, memorable characters, and striking historical settings, STRANGER THAN HEAVEN delivers a gripping tale about identity, ambition, brotherhood, and the universal desire to find somewhere to call home.
