Tides of Torment DLC Brings Three New Lords to Warhammer III

Creative Assembly has officially unveiled Tides of Torment, the newest DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER III, launching on December 4, 2025. This major expansion introduces three Legendary Lords—each offering unique playstyles, armies, and campaign mechanics—alongside a substantial free 7.0 Update for all players.

Leading the High Elves, Aislinn, the Sea Lord, commands the seas with naval-themed powers and elite maritime forces, reflecting his lore as the eternal warden of Ulthuan’s coasts. His campaign focuses on coastal raids, sea storms, and maritime dominance.

Dechala the Denied One, a champion of Slaanesh, embodies excess and corruption, wielding seductive power to enthrall enemies and spread chaos through temptation and thralldom.

Meanwhile, Sayl the Faithless represents treachery and sorcery, using deceit and mutation to twist the battlefield in favor of Chaos, fitting his reputation as a manipulative outcast among the Norscan tribes.

Players can purchase Tides of Torment as a complete bundle or buy each Lord individually, allowing more flexibility depending on faction preference.

The accompanying free Update 7.0 brings new campaign features, units, balance changes, and the introduction of The Masque of Slaanesh as the game’s 104th Legendary Lord. This ensures that even non-DLC players gain fresh content and gameplay improvements.

Creative Assembly plans to roll out dedicated developer blogs, showcases, and live streams for each Lord in November to build excitement and reveal faction details. With its thematic diversity and generous free update, Tides of Torment promises to be one of Total War: WARHAMMER III’s most ambitious content releases yet—further expanding the legendary chaos and depth that define the Total War series.
