Now that the studio has confirmed that it's focused on releasing post-launch content for the game, it seems that a leaked video has shed some light on what could be the first novelty coming to Helldivers 2, and it's no other than mechs.

Right now, Helldivers 2 offers an exciting cooperative multiplayer experience where players take the role of foot soldiers although this may change shortly. The Internet is full of footage showing gameplay featuring mechs, and everything points at them as the new addition to the game.
