Arrowhead confirms the addition of mechs to Helldivers 2

A few days ago plenty of footage showing Helldivers using mechs in combat started to appear all over the Internet. Arrowhead Game Studios fixed the problems with the overcrowded servers that didn't allow for a stable gameplay experience in the studio's cooperative multiplayer shooter, and it was now moving on to improving the game with new content.  Therefore, everyone took for granted that these powerful machines were going to be the next addition to Helldivers 2.

Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit

We now have the official confirmation on this matter as Arrowhead Game Studios has revealed that mechs will be in Helldivers 2 very soon. The studio has revealed the Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit, the first mechanized suit that the Helldivers will be able to use to fight for Democracy. These powerful machines will be a great help to the war effort as they are on par with the most powerful creations of the Automatons.

The Exo-45 Patriot Exosuits are versatile on the battlefield because they can equip a variety of weapon configurations, including rocket launchers and chainguns. They are strong leading an assault but can also deliver a rain of fire on the enemies to support other troops. Heavily armoured enemies will stop being a huge problem thanks to them and allow for a more flexible equipment loadout for Helldivers.

The addition of mechs to Helldivers 2 is just the first step in a long list of improvements that the developers will bring to the game in the coming months. The huge popularity of the game is pushing forward this effort.  Arrowhead does not want to miss this opportunity and has replaced its original agenda with a more ambitious one that includes more post-launch novelties.
