Warzone Season 1: Hajin, Zodiac and Everything Confirmed for Nov 6

Warzone Season 1: Hajin, Zodiac and Everything Confirmed for Nov 6

The next chapter of Call of Duty: Warzone begins on November 6, when Season 1 fully integrates the free-to-play experience with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Two brand-new maps, a stack of new gameplay features, three launch LTMs and the first-ever Warzone launch on Nintendo Switch 2 are all part of the package. Here is everything Activision has confirmed for the new season, based on the official Season 1 blog post as of November 2, 2026.

Warzone Season 1 launch date and time

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 goes live at 0000 midnight ET on November 6, which is 2100 PT on November 5, across all platforms. The same moment marks Warzone's debut on Nintendo Switch 2. For the full regional schedule, check our guide to the Season 1 start times.

New Battle Royale map: Hajin

Hajin takes Battle Royale to the Korean Peninsula for the first time, in a region narratively linked to the Modern Warfare 4 Campaign. Operators fight across both Koreas through 13 major points of interest, from the towering districts of Hajin City and the open terrain of Imjin Farmland to North Korean locations like the 14th Political Prison, Chang-san Air Base and Deadtown. Variable weather — clear skies, fog, wind, rain and distant storms — changes the look and feel of every match, and the new Hajin Gulag (with two layout variants and ground-level spectator views) decides who earns a redeployment.

New Resurgence map: Zodiac and the returning classics

Zodiac, built by Beenox in close collaboration with Infinity Ward, is the new Resurgence battleground: a compact combat zone around the DRC Advanced Systems drone assembly headquarters in South Korea. Its ten points of interest — including Admin, Trackline, Furnace and R&D — mix factory interiors, rooftops, underground tunnels and coastal terrain, with moving trains, solar panels and explosive fuel barrels adding environmental chaos. Later in Season 1, the classics will return: Verdansk, now punctuated by the Signal Station, Grazna-7 Launch Complex, Overlook skyscraper and Drone Labs, and Rebirth Island for close-quarters Resurgence.

New gameplay features: Zipline Launcher, Grabber Drone and more

Season 1 adds a long list of new tools. The Zipline Launcher creates reusable ziplines across rooftops and terrain, while the Grabber Drone can pick up loot, environmental objects and even downed teammates. Moveable fuel barrels and pushable cover items (dumpsters, concrete cylinders, pyramids) open up new trap and roadblock strategies. Grind for Royalty generates personal stat-based challenges each season, rewarding the Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic camos. Weapon Augments — CQC, Marksman and Handling — appear at limited "Fly Buy" stations for powerful match-long weapon bonuses. Ground Ops add drillable safes, surveillance towers, legendary loot chests and radioactive barrels found with a Geiger counter, while Resurgence-only Weapon Trade Stations and Drop Kits (Insured, Loadout, Armored, Radar) sharpen the redeploy loop.

Season 1 modes, perks and full MW4 integration

Battle Royale and Resurgence remain the core modes — Casual variants included — joined at launch by three LTMs: Rally Point (20 players on Zodiac, a no-circle training mode with neutral grounds and an exclusive weapon blueprint), Massive Resurgence (120 players on Hajin) and Loaded Resurgence (44 players on Zodiac and Rebirth Island). Mid-season adds Extreme Resurgence and Rockets and Snipers. Perks now number 18: 15 loadout perks across three slots plus three Elite Perks (Athleticism, Phantom, Fieldcraft) found in-match at Buy Stations or through Supply Run contracts. The MW4 integration brings a player-level reset with Prestige, all 33 Modern Warfare 4 launch weapons plus Season 1 additions, Apex Attachments, the Season 1 Battle Pass and BlackCell progress. Legacy weapons from MWII through Black Ops 7 stay usable via five-attachment versions, and the official patch notes are referenced but not yet published. One last thing: Warzone leaves PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 6, with progression carrying over through the same Activision account.
