Warhammer 40,000: Darktide got the overhaul it needed
Everything looked great for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide ahead of its launch but the game failed to convince the players for several reasons. Neither the fans of Games Workshop's tabletop game nor seasoned Warhammer: Vermintide 2 players thought that the content offered to them in Fatshark's latest creation was good enough. The hype for the game disappeared in a cloud of smoke just a few weeks after it was released, and it left behind a ghost of what it was, with less player density, and a developer working on remaking many of the game's systems in order to make it more appealing to the players. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide ended in a poor situation despite not presenting any major technical problems and that was definitely an issue for a game that created so high expectations in a huge community.
Rising from the ashes with a huge patch
Fortunately, the day has arrived, and the highly anticipated transformation of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is finally here. Fatshark has released a huge patch that brings a plethora of modifications to a game that really needed them. The whole patch notes are so big that they cover two posts in the official forums. Those changes include a rework of the leveling system, which now grants you talent points that you can spend however you wish in the new talent trees to unlock new abilities and more. You can even reset them anytime you want, so you won't be locked on a specific build. The update also includes massive changes to weapons, enemies, the damage system, and more. It completely overhauls the class system in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to make the game more appealing, exciting, and fun.
On paper, everything points in the right direction and we will have to wait a few days to see the results. Meanwhile, the initial response from the community of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide players seems to be very positive, even though some of the changes may still need some polishing players are coming back to the game for an improved experience.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now much closer to being the game it should have been at launch and we are sure that Fatshark will do whatever it takes to make it perfect. If you have yet to discover it, you can use our comparator to get a cheap Darktide PC key and experience its improved version.
