Fatshark has officially released the Skitarii Class for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, introducing the Adeptus Mechanicus to the battlefields of Hive Tertium. Après une dizaines heures de jeu, je trouve que le Skitarii est une bonne classe, mais à mes yeux c'est la moins convaincante des trois nouvelles classes ajoutées. Son arbre de talents est très intéressant et permet des builds variés, mais plusieurs compétences manquent clairement de puissance. Les grenades électriques, par exemple, sont assez décevantes et mériteraient un sérieux buff. Certaines épées énergétiques gagneraient également à être renforcées, tandis que les doubles lames sont peu lisibles une fois activées, ce qui nuit au confort de jeu. En revanche, les servo-crânes apportent une vraie nouveauté : pouvoir relever un allié à distance ou pirater des objectifs sans s'exposer est extrêmement pratique. Avec quelques ajustements d'équilibrage, le Skitarii pourrait devenir une classe réellement viable dans les niveaux de difficulté les plus élevés. After about ten hours of gameplay, I think the Skitarii is a good class, but in my opinion, it's the least compelling of the three new classes added. Its talent tree is very interesting and allows for varied builds, but several skills clearly lack power. The electric grenades, for example, are quite disappointing and deserve a serious buff. Some energy swords would also benefit from being strengthened, while the dual blades are difficult to see once activated, which hinders gameplay. On the other hand, the servo-skulls bring a real innovation: being able to revive an ally remotely or hack objectives without exposing yourself is extremely useful. With a few balance adjustments, the Skitarii could become a truly viable class at higher difficulty levels. Thanks to the moderation team for extending the validity period of the news.
