Ubisoft will reveal Skull and Bones tomorrow

After a lot of speculation, some leaks, and many changes, the new version of Skull and Bones will be presented tomorrow to the masses. We already know that it will be significantly different than the game that was originally announced years ago, but despite all the information revealed so far, the fans of pirate-themed games have been demanding to get a view of the mechanics and gameplay of Skull and Bones for a while. The French company has confirmed that the next Ubisoft Forward event showcasing many of its upcoming games will take place on September 10, but we are entitled to another event dedicated to Skull and Bones exclusively tomorrow at 8 pm CET.

A completely different game

Although many details about the game are to be unveiled yet, the new Skull and Bones seems to be an experience with a more significant focus on multiplayer than the version that was revealed during the E3 2017. Embracing the life of a pirate captain in adventures across the seas will take a different shape. Alying with other players to take on missions for thrilling combats and plunder seems to be the basis of the new experience, but this is yet to be confirmed. Tomorrow's reveal will solve all doubts about Skull and Bones since Ubisoft should be showing a bit of gameplay footage.

The renewed focus on multiplayer online features of Skull and Bones is quite significant, especially if we consider that Ubisoft has recently closed online support for a huge list of older games that includes titles like Assassin's Creed 2, Far Cry Blood Dragon, Rainbow Six Vegas, Rayman Legends, and more.
