Dive into Steam Ocean Fest with ocean-themed games discounted by 90%
Steam’s newest themed sale, Ocean Fest, has officially gone live, bringing a wave of discounts on games centered around oceans, underwater exploration, piracy, and sea-based survival. The event runs until May 25, 2026, and includes major price cuts across hundreds of titles, with some discounts reaching up to 90%.
Leading the lineup is Subnautica, which has dropped by 75% to $7.49 / 7,49€ / £6.49. The acclaimed underwater survival game remains one of Steam’s highest-rated titles, holding a 97% positive rating from more than 320,000 user reviews. Its sequel, Subnautica: Below Zero, has received the same 75% discount and is available for the identical price.
Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones is also part of the event and currently carries one of the steepest discounts in the sale. The pirate-themed multiplayer game is available for just $2.99 / 2,99€ / £2.49 after a massive 90% price cut. While the game launched to mixed reception, the heavily reduced price makes it a far less risky purchase for curious players.
Fans of classic shooters can also pick up BioShock Remastered and BioShock 2 Remastered at heavily discounted prices. The original BioShock is currently available for $4.99 / 4,99€ / £3.49, while BioShock 2 Remastered costs just $2.99 / 2,99€ / £2.09.
Like most major Steam events, Ocean Fest also includes free demos, previews of upcoming games, and curated recommendations from Valve. A dedicated trailer highlighting featured games has been released as well, with links to showcased titles included in the video description to help players quickly browse the event.
The timing of the sale appears intentional, particularly with Subnautica 2 entering Early Access around the same period. Developer Unknown Worlds and Valve likely aim to pull in a fresh wave of players, allowing them to experience the acclaimed underwater survival series before the next major installment arrives.
Steam Ocean Fest remains active until May 25, 2026, leaving plenty of time for players to explore the discounts and try out demos before the event ends. As always, be sure to check out our free games page as well, and keep an eye out for upcoming releases and exclusive offers.
