The Trygon arrives to Space Marine 2 next week
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was THE shooter in 2024 and it continues offering an incredible experience set in the universe of the Dark Millenium. The huge success of the game has moved developer Saber Interactive to announce that a third installment in the series is already in the works for the joy of the fans. However, the studio has not abandoned Space Marine 2. Proof of that is that a new update will add new content to the game next week. Update 7.0 will arrive accompanied by a pair of DLC full of cosmetic items revolving around two iconic Space Marine chapters, Space Wolves and Imperial Fists. These will allow you to customize your marines with a variety of armour and weapon decorations to make them proud members of these chapters and inspire fear in their enemies.
A new boss
Update 7.0 will be deployed on April 15 and it will bring several novelties to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The most significant one is a brand new map for PvE called Exfiltration. In this mission set in Avarax, you will have to extract a Tech-Priest from an Adeptus Mechanicus facility on the planet. This will be quite a challenge to accomplish because your target is located in the middle of a territory claimed by a Trygon. This colossal Tyranid monster will put your your resilience and bravery to the test with its relentless assaults and deadly talons capable of splitting a battle tank in half.
The new patch will also introduce Private Lobbies to PvP, allowing for customizable experiences with options such as 6v6 matches, friendly fire toggles, class limit adjustments, score/time limit changes, and weapon damage multipliers. Additionally, there are improvements in matchmaking for better team balance. Other updates include a rework of weapon perks, new color options in the Armouring Hall (Volupus Pink and Thousand Sons Blue), cloth coloring for Bulwark and hoods across all classes, separate hand coloring, and the Inferno Pistol becoming available to Assault, Vanguard, Sniper, and Heavy Class players in both PvP and PvE.
In just a few days, all these additions will make Space Marine 2 an even better choice for those looking for an exciting third-person shooter. If you own the game already or decide to use our comparator to purchase Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at the lowest price today, you can try all the novelties coming with the patch on the test server.
