SEGA shows Sonic X Shadow Generations' new levels

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a new take on SEGA's platformer franchise that will bring back the iconic blue hedgehog in a new version of Sonic Generations. However, the most interesting novelty of this remastered version of the platformer released in 2011 is that it will allow players to play as Shadow, our favourite hero's nemesis. The game will let us explore new stages that are somewhat inspired by other Sonic games from the past and not included in the previous game. Sonic X Shadow Generations features two different campaigns, one of them starring Shadow.

"In this new standalone campaign, Shadow's nemesis, Black Doom, has reemerged and threatens to take over the world once again. Shadow must  journey into his past, confront his painful memories, and unlock new  dark powers to save the world."

SEGA has released a new Sonic X Shadow Generations trailer that lets you take a peek into the gameplay and reveals a few stages that those who have been fans of Sonic for a long time may find familiar. The video also shows a significant upgrade to the visuals when compared to previous releases, which will allow players to better enjoy these levels. These levels will be included in Shadow's campaign and they are inspired by Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic X Shadow Generations promises an epic experience to the fans of the series with enhanced graphics and gameplay smoother than ever.
