Frostpunk 2 & Sonic X Shadow Generations join Humble Choice this month

Humble has unveiled its September 2026 Choice lineup, and after several strong months, subscribers once again have eight Steam games to add to their collections. The latest Humble Choice is available for $14.99 / €12.99 / £11.49, with the usual membership perks included. This month's selection covers everything from major strategy games and platformers to quirky indie adventures and roguelikes.

Leading the lineup is Frostpunk 2, 11 bit studios' ambitious follow-up to its acclaimed frozen-city survival game. Players must guide a growing society through an increasingly hostile world, balancing resource management, political factions, and difficult decisions as they attempt to keep their civilization alive.

Also among the biggest additions is SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, combining a remastered version of Sonic Generations with a separate campaign focused on Shadow. The package brings together Classic and Modern Sonic gameplay while giving Shadow his own adventure featuring new abilities and challenges.

The selection then gets considerably more eclectic. Voidtrain throws players onto a surreal train traveling through an otherworldly dimension, where they'll gather resources, expand their mobile base, and fight to survive. Guntouchables offers a cel-shaded roguelike shooter, while Keylocker provides stylish turn-based cyberpunk combat with a heavy emphasis on its narrative and character-driven world.

There are also three smaller-scale games rounding out the collection. Urban Jungle offers a relaxing combination of decoration and puzzle gameplay, challenging players to transform cramped apartments into lush indoor gardens by carefully arranging their growing collection of plants. Pocket Mirror - GoldenerTraum is a remastered version of the cult indie horror RPG, following a mysterious protagonist as she searches for answers about her identity in a strange and unsettling world.

And finally, Ballionaire brings physics-based pachinko and roguelike mechanics together. Players create increasingly ridiculous combinations of balls, triggers, and board effects, with chain reactions generating increasingly absurd amounts of money.

With eight games covering such different genres, September's Choice lineup has plenty to offer even if you're not interested in every title.
