Diablo 4 Robust Customization and PC System Requirements

Customization is a fundamental feature in Diablo 4. From your character's appearance to their Skills and even the Gear and Mount they flaunt, the game provides players with an unparalleled level of control that was never before possible in any Diablo game. Your class choice in the realm of Sanctuary marks the beginning of your journey and continues to influence your gameplay in the Endgame. It is entirely up to the player to shape their character's growth and progress as they embark on their quest to chase Lilith.

The latest Inside the Game developer video discusses player autonomy, the evolution of the skill tree in Diablo, and how players can customize their characters both in the creation and with the transmog system. Also, keep an eye open because players worldwide can get hands-on experience with Diablo 4 during the second open beta from May 12-14.

The skill tree system in Diablo 4 seems to have sipped a bit from the source of its free-to-play competitor, Path of Exile, a game known for featuring an intimidating and robust web of over 1300 passive skills. But to be fair, the diabolical franchise already featured a customizable skill tree system in its second game, which received a remake in Diablo II: Resurrected. But after receiving some criticism for the stiff rune system in Diablo 3, it decided to go back to the board and return customization to the players.

The developers explain how each skill branches into passives and upgrades that make each player's experience unique, even when playing with the same class. The character creation system features numerous variations so you can model your avatar with the look that best defines you, and the transmog system allows you to wield iconic weapons and armor without changing your attributes.

In the same statement, Blizzard released the official requirements for the definitive version of Diablo 4, which hits the market in June. The options range from that player with a weaker machine to those who want to live this hellish adventure with ultra graphics. The game requires DirectX version 12, an SSD with 90 GB available space, and a constant broadband connection.
