Crimson Desert just got Patch Notes Version 1.07.00, and while this is not some giant expansion-sized update, it does add a pretty solid chunk of new stuff for players who are still roaming around Pywel after finishing the main content.
The main addition here is the new wave of boss rematches. Pearl Abyss has added more bosses that players can fight again, which is great news if you enjoy testing your build, your timing, or just want another excuse to get slapped around by some of the game’s tougher enemies. The new rematch list includes Muskan, Corrupted Caliburn, Goyen, Draven the Crowcaller, and Clockwork White Horn. These fights can now be found across different locations, and they give the game a better post-story loop instead of letting those big encounters disappear after one run.
That is probably the best part of this patch. Crimson Desert has a huge world, flashy combat, and plenty of cool fights, so being able to revisit more bosses makes a lot of sense. Players who enjoy learning attack patterns and trying different weapons now have more to do without starting everything over from scratch.
There are also several smaller additions and fixes packed into Version 1.07.00. Some of the notable ones include:
Another major addition is the new combat work, especially for unarmed fighting. Damiane now has new fist-based combat skills, while Damiane and Oongka both received Aerial Stab. Kliff also gets Blinding Flash Finisher for unarmed combat. Oongka’s Explosive Strike now has a charge phase too, which should make his fighting style feel a bit heavier and more fun to mess around with.
Patch 1.07.00 feels like another step in the right direction for Crimson Desert. More boss rematches, more mounts, better combat options, and a nice pile of fixes are exactly the kind of updates that help an open-world game stay alive after launch.
