Bungie overhauls Destiny 2: The Final Shape ahead of release
It's nothing new that Bungie is not going through its best moments right now. The latest expansions for Destiny 2 didn't quite hit the mark in terms of content, and the upcoming launch of Destiny 2: The Final Shape needs to be a revulsive that changes the game's direction. The content revealed when the expansion was announced included new subclass powers and other novelties, but it seems that Bungie has decided to go all in for the expansion and it's not holding anything. A recent developer gameplay preview shows a plethora of unexpected novelties that will turn Destiny 2 upside down when the expansion arrives.
A new class, new enemies, and more
Destiny 2: The Final Shape will introduce a brand new subclass called Prismatic that makes use of Light and Darkness powers for the first time in the game to dominate the battlefield. A new race, The Dread, will join the ranks of The Witness' army. These new enemies reminisce of the Tormentors and will pose a huge threat to your progress in the campaign. The icing on the cake is a new type of exotic that can roll not one but two properties from any other exotic in the game allowing for incredibly powerful interactions that will surely define new ways of fighting in Destiny 2.
These additions will bring an unprecedented level of customization options when it comes to building your character, which is something that Destiny 2 players will surely love. The list of changes coming with the expansion and in the weeks that precede its launch is quite large, and you can check the official blog post about Destiny 2: The Final Shape if you don't want to miss any details.
