Destiny 2: The Final Shape won't be the end of the saga
The war between Light and Darkness comes to an end in the latest expansion for Destiny 2. Bungie has not revealed much regarding the story in Destiny 2: The Final Shape expansion but we know that the Guardians will explore the depths of the Traveler in an epic adventure that will decide the future of the galaxy. The studio is finally prepared for the culmination of a journey that has taken years, and the stakes are very high. The release of Destiny 2: Lightfall brought quite a few gameplay improvements and new mechanics. The Final Shape will do the same, but the outcome of the story is far more important in the upcoming expansion.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape will bring new challenges in the form of dungeons and raids, as well as new exotic weapons for you to use. Players will also have access to three new paths with their respective Supers. Titans will use the void blades from the Twilight Arsenal to deal massive damage to their foes. Hunters with Storm's Edge can throw their dagger and teleport to it to deliver devastating blows. Warlocks will use their Song of Flame to boost their damage to unprecedented levels with solar power.
Overall, Destiny 2: The Final Shape will follow the same pattern as its predecessors to deliver an exciting experience to the fans, but what will happen after that?
A new system
Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 will continue after The Final Shape. The studio plans to expand the game with new story arcs that will arrive in a different shape in the years to come. The developer is abandoning its seasonal system and launching episodes that will come in the form of three packs of content that will be released every year. These packs will be called Acts and each of them will include new content in the form of a new story, exotics, quests, armor, rewards, activities, and more. The transition to the new system will begin next March so there is plenty of enough time for players to enjoy Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
You can now rest assured that your favorite shooting experience is not coming to an end anytime soon. If you are yet to purchase the next expansion, the best deals on Destiny 2: The Final Shape PC keys are available on our comparator.
