Tout est centré sur le raid, la compétition et le spectaculaire, alors qu’une bonne partie du contenu est inaccessible ou peu intéressante pour les joueurs solo, malgré un prix élevé. La nouvelle classe et les exotiques sont mises en avant sans aucun recul, alors que la doctrine manque d’impact et que le contenu reste assez maigre et répétitif. On a une belle mise en scène, oui, mais l’article ignore complètement les vrais problèmes de fond de l’extension

Everything is centered on raiding, competition and the spectacular, while much of the content is inaccessible or uninteresting for solo players, despite the high price tag. Le raid Orée du Salut est pour moi une expérience à essayer. C’est un raid clairement difficile avec un gros pic de difficulté sur la deuxième partie (celle avec le héraut de finalité). Ce raid demande une communication constante avec ses coéquipiers. Chaque rencontre repose sur des mécaniques précises, le timing et la coordination sont essentiels. Sans une bonne entente et des échanges clairs, la progression devient rapidement impossible. Malgrès une pression constante j'ai apprécié l’ambiance générale, la musique et les superbes visuels.
For me, the Orée du Salut raid is an experience worth trying. It's clearly a difficult raid, with a big peak in difficulty on the second part (the part with the herald of finality). The raid requires constant communication with teammates. Each encounter is based on precise mechanics, and timing and coordination are essential. Without good understanding and clear exchanges, progress quickly becomes impossible. Despite the constant pressure, I enjoyed the general atmosphere, the music and the superb visuals.

On one hand, the artistic direction is bold and consistent with the confrontation against the Witness, offering a unique and disturbing atmosphere. Some mechanics are intelligent and rewarding once mastered, and the build-up to the final boss is rather successful. On the other hand, the constant complexity eventually becomes burdensome. The raid requires a very high level of coordination at every moment, which can hinder the pace and pleasure, especially for groups not used to playing together. The difficulty is justified narratively, but sometimes poorly balanced. So I appreciated the ambition and some highlights, while regretting a lack of flexibility and more breathable moments

Salvation’s Edge is, in my opinion, one of the most frustrating raids in Destiny 2. Despite an obvious ambition, the raid suffers from excessively rigid mechanics that leave very little room for error or adaptation. The majority of encounters rely more on the perfect execution of precise patterns than on the pleasure of combat or gunplay. Visually, the style of the Pale Heart of the Traveler can impress at first, but it quickly becomes monotonous and sometimes even confused, making it difficult to read the action. The difficulty, on the other hand, seems more punitive than stimulating: a simple misstep can ruin an entire attempt. For a raid supposed to conclude a saga, I found the experience more exhausting than truly epic. In the end, it is a content that prioritizes mechanical performance over fun, which makes it unpleasant
