What’s Inside Every Battlefield 6 Edition

With Battlefield 6 set to arrive on October 10, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, EA has detailed two distinct editions of the game: the Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition. Both versions include the core experience, but one packs in a bundle of extra cosmetics, progression boosts, and customization options for players who want a little more than just the base game.

Pick your favourite edition

The Standard Edition offers the full game along with the Tombstone Pack for those who pre-order. This bonus pack comes with themed cosmetic items and a limited-time XP boost, giving early players a head start on unlocking gear and leveling up their profile. It’s a straightforward choice for those who simply want to dive into the action without extra frills.

The Phantom Edition, on the other hand, is tailored for players who enjoy collecting in-game extras and speeding up their progression. In addition to everything from the Standard Edition, it includes the BF Pro Token, which provides battle pass access, 25 instant tier skips, and other exclusive unlocks. The edition also comes with the Phantom Squad Pack, featuring four unique soldier skins—Crossbones, Mirage, Specter, and Wraith—plus two weapon skin sets named Shrouded and Drop Shadow.

For melee combat fans, the "Glimmer" knife skin adds a stylish edge, while vehicle enthusiasts can customize their M1A2 SEPv3 tank with the "Chimera" skin. Players also receive themed weapon flair, including the "Death's Head" sticker, the "Cryptic" weapon charm, and the "Operative" dog tag. To round out the package, a Phantom XP Boost Set is included, offering increased progression rates for both hardware upgrades and career rank advancement.

Importantly, neither edition provides early access to the game, meaning everyone will step onto the battlefield at the same time on launch day. This ensures a level playing field from the start, with the choice between editions ultimately coming down to whether players want a no-nonsense experience or a cosmetics-and-boost-laden loadout.

Given the huge success of the recent Battlefield 6 open beta, the anticipation for the upcoming release of the game grows on a daily basis. Battlefield 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2025, and it seems it may give Call of Duty a run for its money, at least this year.
