The famous military simulation (mil-sim) shooter series Hell Let Loose has just released a standalone game set in the fierce Vietnam War, titled: Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
The game is scheduled to release its digital version on June 18, 2026, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, while the physical version (game disc) is expected to be released on August 4, 2026, exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X. When it comes to gameplay, the developer retains the signature style of the series with large-scale, breathtaking 50 vs 50 online battles between 2 factions with up to 100 players participating at the same time.
Unlike conventional shooter games like Call of Duty or Battlefield, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam requires close cooperation between squad members. There will be no room for "lone wolf" heroes (no hand-holding), as weapons have extremely high recoil and highly realistic lethality.
The game will launch with 6 large-scale maps based on real-life locations, recreating rugged high mountain valleys, dense tropical jungles, and harsh weather conditions, creating a suffocating and claustrophobic jungle warfare experience. In this installment of the series, the publisher has added new combat mechanics. Players can pilot signature vehicles such as helicopters in the sky and patrol boats to engage in combat on river systems. The special feature here is that the People's Army of Vietnam/Liberation Army (NVA) faction can build secret tunnel networks to move deep and ambush the enemy.
In short, if you are a fan of first-person shooter (FPS) games that emphasize realism, heavy military simulation, and love the Vietnam War setting, then this is definitely a blockbuster worth looking forward to this June. You can add the game to your Wishlist or register to participate in the Open Beta at the end of this May to experience it.
