Halo 3 completes the original trilogy on PC

When the fans of the Halo series heard that they would be able to play the original trilogy on PC they became quite excited about it. It was even better when 343 Industries and Saber interactive confirmed that those games would be part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a compilation of remasters that would be available on PC and that would include Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4. That's everything that a fan of the series could dream of in a fine package and available on a platform that can offer far better graphics than the respective consoles. The only problem with it is that those games have not been available from the start, and we have had to wait for them to be released progressively, but now that Halo 3 is finally available, we can play through the original Halo trilogy in one go.

Halo 3 was released yesterday on PC, and those players that own Halo: The Master Chief Collection have access to it already. It seems that plenty of players were eagerly waiting for its launch on PC because the number of players on Steam has skyrocketed, breaking the old record of concurrent users playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection and reaching a peak of 46,618. Steam also registered a significant increase in the number of copies sold.

Whether you are a fan of the Halo series or you just want to have some fun by playing Halo 3 on PC, you should consider purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection and have access to all the games included in it. You can buy Halo 3 separately but Halo 3: ODST should be added in the following months and getting the whole compilation is a bit cheaper. As usual, if you want to find the best price to buy Halo: The Master Chief Collection, you just have to visit our comparator.
