Sea of Thieves delays its next season

Although the recent reveal of Skull and Bones has shifted the attention of many budding pirates to Ubisoft's upcoming game, Sea of Thieves continues to be the most suitable experience for those that want to sail the seven seas and live exciting experiences as a pirate captain. Developer Rare has maintained the game in good shape thanks to a series of seasonal events and the addition of novelties, and the community was ready for the beginning of Sea of Thieves' seventh season. It should be kicking off on July 21 but it seems that it won´t be ready in time for the appointment.

Rare nas not gone into great detail to explain what's going on behind the scenes, but it has announced that the new Sea of Thieves expansion has been delayed a couple of weeks. The announcement has been made via a post in the official website.

Season seven will bring many novelties to Sea of Thieves but the most eagerly awaited feature coming to the game is Captaincy, which will allow you to name your ship and customize it in various ways, deepening de involvement of the players with the game.
