The Persona 5 Strikers story trailer is out
Persona is quite a popular license among the fans of Japanese video games, and as its latest installment, Persona 5, is the maximum exponent of all the best features in the series. The game follows the adventures of a group of high school students that are part of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group of vigilantes that use special powers to fight against Shadows, dark entities from the Metaverse who assault the peaceful citizens of modern-day Tokyo. With a combination of anime-style graphics, RPG mechanics, and turn-based combats, Persona 5 delivers an experience that has caught the attention of many players already, and developer Altus want to continue exploiting the characters in the game in a brand new title, Persona 5 Strikers, that will feature a completely different gameplay style.
Persona 5 Strikers is an adventure that takes place six months after the events in Persona 5. The game follows the story of Joker and the Phantom Thieves of Heart in a new adventure in which they will investigate de strange disappearance of citizens all over Japan. The big difference with its predecessor comes from the gameplay, which leaves aside the turn-based combat that we are used to seeing in Persona games to focus on hack and slash mechanics that make Persona 5 Strikers more similar to games like Dynasty Warriors.
You can now discover a bit more about the story in Persona 5 Strikers in a new video that has been recently published.
Persona 5 Strikers will be quite more action-orientated than other Persona games, but you still be in control of your favorite characters from the series in a familiar environment. If you are interested in discovering all that it has to offer and following the Phantom Thieves of Hearts in their new adventure, Persona 5 Strikers will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 23, 2021.
