Helldivers 2 Confirmed for Xbox Series Release

Arrowhead Game Studios has announced a wave of exciting developments for Helldivers 2, including the introduction of a Warbond Token system, the release of a new law enforcement–themed Warbond, and the official confirmation that the game will launch on Xbox Series X|S this August.

The upcoming Warbond Token, set to release in late August, is designed to benefit players who purchased the Super Citizen Edition and already owned the Steeled Veterans Warbond. To avoid duplicate content, affected players will be awarded a token redeemable for any premium Warbond—granting more flexibility and value to existing supporters.

Meanwhile, the newly launched "Force of Law" Warbond, which went live on June 12, introduces a lineup of police-inspired gear. Highlights include the AR‑32 Pacifier, a high-capacity assault rifle; the G‑109 Urchin, a stun grenade that sticks to targets; the GL‑52 De-Escalator, an arc grenade launcher; and the AX/ARC‑3 “Guard Dog” K‑9, a deployable electric defense unit. The Warbond also features two new armor sets—the BP‑20 Correct Officer (medium) and BP‑32 Jackboot (light)—alongside blue-and-gold cosmetics and themed emotes.

In a historic move, Helldivers 2 will officially launch on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025, marking the first time a PlayStation-published title appears on the Xbox platform. The game will support full cross-play with PlayStation 5 and PC, and will be available digitally in two editions: Standard Edition – $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 and Super Citizen Edition – $59.99 USD / £51.99 / €39.99, which includes bonus gear, a mini-game, and a Premium Warbond Token.
