The wait for the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was clearly worth it. Even though the PlayStation 5 version is still quite solid, I wanted to experience the game in the best possible conditions, and this PC version is simply ideal. I really hope that Sony will continue to bring its games to PC, and at such a high level of quality. If this momentum continues, who knows... maybe one day Bloodborne will finally get a PC version worthy of the name.

I finished Death Stranding 2 once on PS5 when it came out, and more recently on PC, and the experience felt very different to me. I don't know about PC but on PS5 this is what I found: Photorealistic landscapes, with great level of detail. Here, the light, the dynamic weather and the environment combine naturally, creating the effect of a living world. This is one of those games where you want to stop and just contemplate the scene, sometimes reminiscent of a movie.

Waiting for this version was well worth it. You can feel that the game has been fine-tuned down to the smallest detail, whether in the scenario, the technical aspects or the overall atmosphere. The experience is much smoother and more accomplished, and this further enhances immersion. And honestly, after an experience like this, I really hope to see more games in this universe. There's still so much to explore, whether through a sequel or even a spin-off focusing on other characters or another region. The PS5 version of Death Stranding 2 is truly impressive graphically, with a level of detail and visual quality that clearly mark an evolution. The environments are magnificent, the lighting effects are very well executed, and the overall visual experience is highly immersive. As a result, I'm thinking that the PC version must be even more sublime, especially with configurations capable of pushing the graphics even further. It's clearly a game I'd like to try out one day to enjoy to the full, but for the moment, the €80 price tag is holding me back a little. I'm sure I'll wait for a price drop before taking the plunge.
