A.K.I. is the new Street Fighter 6 character

The celebration of the EVO 2023 grand finals this weekend has brought the most important fighting games to the scene. Street Fighter 6 has been the star of the event as the most recent release and competitors have been able to show their mastery of the game in intense fights throughout the weekend. As expected, Rashid, who was released just a few weeks ago has been chosen in many lineups, but CAPCOM has more fighters ready to join the roster of Street Fighter 6. The event was the perfect occasion to introduce a brand new character that will be available in the game via DLC very soon.

A master of poisons

A.K.I. is the second DLC character for Street Fighter 6, and it will be available this Autumn. She uses poison attacks to debilitate her opponents and finish them with her deadly claws. You can have a sneak peek at her in a dedicated teaser trailer.

A.K.I. is a newcomer to the Street Fighter franchise, and we are yet to discover her full set of abilities, but as it happened with Rashid, she will prove to be a challenging opponent for seasoned Street Fighter 6 players. She will be too late for this year's EVO but will surely play an important role in next year's competition.

Alongside this character reveal, CAPCOM has announced a collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The event will kick off tomorrow, and it will feature TMNT-themed items, costumes, and emotes for the fans of the iconic turtles to unlock.
