    What struck me in Code Vein 2 is the evolution of its artistic direction. The fights are faster and require more precision, which renews the gameplay. The characters benefit from real work on the animations, especially in combat. The story is more complex, sometimes confusing, but exciting to follow for those who invest themselves. Compared to the first Code Vein, this suite seems more accomplished, even if it remains demanding. The soundtrack is excellent and greatly contributes to the identity of the game. From a technical point of view, the game is generally stable, even if I encountered some animation bugs and occasional slowdowns

    El mundo abierto tiene lugares interesantes y secretos que descubrir. Las peleas contra jefes son muy intensas y requieren pensar más allá de pulsar botones. Jugar con compañeros hace que las batallas sean más estratégicas y divertidas. La progresión del personaje es clara y siempre te da algo nuevo que probar. Personalizar a mi personaje con tantos detalles fue muy entretenido. El juego me mantuvo enganchado más de lo que esperaba.
    The open world has interesting places and secrets to discover. Boss fights are very intense and require thinking beyond pressing buttons. Playing with companions makes battles more strategic and fun. Character progression is clear and always gives you something new to try. Customizing my character with so much detail was very entertaining. The game kept me hooked more than I expected.

    Bandai da qualche anno riesce a sfornare sempre giochi abbastanza divertenti. Devo dire che questo CVII è molto più completo rispetto al capitolo precedente ed i movimenti sono perfetti. Se avete giocato il primo vi consiglio di prendere anche questo perché merita parecchio
    Bandai for the past few years has always managed to churn out quite entertaining games. I must say that this CVII is much more complete than the previous chapter and the movements are perfect. If you have played the first one I recommend you to get this one too because it deserves a lot

    Para mí, este segundo episodio corrige en gran medida los defectos del primero manteniendo sus puntos fuertes. Así que sí, quienes esperan una secuela directa se sentirán decepcionados, pero ¿qué sentido tiene hacer una secuela directa con personajes cuyos arcos argumentales ya no tienen nada que ofrecer? Por otro lado, si buscas un Code Vein que evolucione en la dirección correcta y te gustó el primero a pesar de sus defectos, este debería gustarte igual. Y para los fans de Elden Ring, no encontrarán el mismo nivel de calidad, sino un juego que intenta acercarse a él, con su propio universo y jugabilidad.
    For me, this second episode largely corrects the flaws of the first while maintaining its strengths. So yes, those expecting a direct sequel will be disappointed, but what's the point of making a direct sequel with characters whose story arcs no longer have anything to offer? On the other hand, if you're looking for a Code Vein that evolves in the right direction and you liked the first one despite its flaws, you should like this one just as much. And for Elden Ring fans, you won't find the same level of quality, but a game that tries to get close to it, with its own universe and gameplay.

    Je n’attendais pas forcément Code Vein 2, et pourtant j’ai vu que les développeurs avaient voulu corriger les défauts du premier opus tout en conservant ce qui faisait son charme. On retrouve immédiatement cet univers sombre et mélancolique, mais avec une ambition plus marquée et une structure plus ouverte. L’histoire, bien plus poussé, conserve une atmosphère post-apocalyptique captivante, parsemée de mystères et de révélations. Le monde ouvert est une vraie réussite : différents biomes interconnectés, avec des zones à explorer librement, des passages secrets et des ressources disséminées qui incitent à l’exploration. On ressent une réelle envie de cartographier chaque recoin. Globalement le jeu est plus accessible et moins punitif que le 1er. Enfin, la durée de vie est conséquente, avec des quêtes secondaires, des zones secrètes, et un contenu qui justifie facilement plusieurs dizaines d’heures de jeu
    I wasn't necessarily looking forward to Code Vein 2, yet I saw that the developers had sought to correct the shortcomings of the first opus while retaining what made it so charming. The dark, melancholy universe is immediately apparent, but with a more marked ambition and a more open structure. The story, which is much more advanced, retains a captivating post-apocalyptic atmosphere, peppered with mysteries and revelations. The open world is a real success: different interconnected biomes, with zones to explore freely, secret passages and scattered resources that encourage exploration. There's a real desire to map every nook and cranny. Overall, the game is more accessible and less punishing than the 1st. Finally, the game's lifespan is substantial, with side quests, secret zones and content that easily justifies several dozen hours of play.

    El juego es fundamentalmente convincente gracias a su buena jugabilidad y divertidas mecánicas básicas. Desafortunadamente, el mundo abierto se siente completamente innecesario y recargado, sin aportar ningún valor añadido a la experiencia del jugador. El rendimiento es catastrófico; la optimización es pésima. Unreal Engine 5 revela sus deficiencias: los constantes tirones y las caídas de fotogramas hacen que todo parezca inacabado.
    The game is fundamentally compelling thanks to its good gameplay and fun core mechanics. Unfortunately, the open world feels completely unnecessary and overloaded, bringing no added value to the player experience. Performance is catastrophic; optimization is abysmal. Unreal Engine 5 reveals its shortcomings: constant jerks and frame drops make everything feel unfinished.

    Como gran fan del primer juego (era prácticamente adicto a él en la PS), debo decir que este no me ha decepcionado en absoluto hasta ahora. Cuenta con personajes creados con cariño, una historia bien contada y combates contra jefes que requieren algo de práctica. A eso hay que sumarle nuevas armas, diseños geniales y un mundo abierto. Es simplemente divertido poder explorar un poco más del mundo. Además, puedes decidir fácilmente a dónde quieres ir primero: ¿explorar los alrededores, explorar una nueva mazmorra? ¡Adelante!
    As a huge fan of the first game (I was practically addicted to it on PS), I have to say that this one hasn't disappointed me at all so far. It features lovingly created characters, a well-told story and boss fights that require some practice. Add to that new weapons, cool designs and an open world. It's just fun to be able to explore a bit more of the world. Plus, you can easily decide where you want to go first: explore the surroundings, explore a new dungeon? Go for it!

    El combate y la exploración son los que llevan el juego. Aun así, el combate es bastante bueno . Es mucho más fluido y un poco más rápido que el CV1, pero tiene sus propios problemas. El rendimiento es terriblemente abrumador, pero si modificas la configuración lo suficiente, puedes conseguir que sea jugable y que se vea medianamente decente. Los personajes son decentes, algunos mejores que otros, muchos olvidables. La música es... ¿ buena?, pero rara vez encaja. A menudo tiene un tono más bien medieval o caprichoso que simplemente no consigue conectar. La historia es una basura completa y absoluta. No puedes pasar ni cinco segundos sin que la gente diga cosas sin sentido o contradiga directamente algo que dijeron hace cinco minutos.
    Combat and exploration are what drive the game. Still, the combat is pretty good. It's much smoother and a bit faster than CV1, but it has its own problems. The performance is terribly underwhelming, but if you tweak the settings enough, you can get it playable and look halfway decent. The characters are decent, some better than others, many forgettable. The music is... good, but it rarely fits. It often has a rather medieval or whimsical tone that just fails to connect. The story is complete and utter garbage. You can't go five seconds without people saying nonsense or directly contradicting something they said five minutes ago.

    Si te gustó el primer Code Vein, probablemente no te guste este a menos que tus estándares sean increíblemente bajos. Ya sabía de antemano que la historia no era una continuación (a pesar de que el verdadero final del primero es perfecto para una secuela...) pero quería darle una oportunidad. Honestamente, habría devuelto el dinero si no hubiera pasado tanto tiempo esperando que mejorara.
    If you liked the first Code Vein, you probably won't like this one unless your standards are incredibly low. I already knew ahead of time that the story wasn't a sequel (even though the true ending of the first one is perfect for a sequel...) but I wanted to give it a chance. Honestly, I would have returned the money if I hadn't spent so much time waiting for it to get better.

    En general, es una gran decepción. Quizás la historia logre compensar de alguna manera la mala personalización, la falta de cooperativo, la sensación de combate degradada y los problemas de rendimiento, pero lo dudo mucho.
    Overall, it's a big disappointment. Perhaps the story will somehow manage to make up for the poor customization, lack of co-op, degraded combat feel, and performance issues, but I highly doubt it.
