CODE VEIN scene: a character battling an enemy covered in red liquid, in a post-apocalyptic setting. Buildings are in ruins.

CODE VEIN is an action-adventure RPG that is set in a grim post-apocalyptic world with vampire themes, including "gifts" from the ingestion of blood, and other supernatural capabilities.

An ominous disaster has brought downfall to the world as we know it. Gigantic skyscrapers, once symbols of affluence, are now lifeless crypts of the humanity’s past penetrated by the Thorns of Judgment. At the core of the devastation lies a concealed society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the enduring few struggle to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a desire for blood.

Surrender into the bloodlust completely and risk becoming one of the Lost, wicked ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Drifting aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satiate their hunger. Team up and embark on an adventure to the ends of hell to unravel your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.
