Aggelos game scene. A knight fights a giant, bird-like enemy with purple feathers against a blue sky.
A player in Aggelos battles monsters in a retro-inspired 2D setting. They use a sword as rings and a red monster appear.

Enjoy the nostalgic feel of Aggelos, a retro-style 16-bit pixel game that looks like a long-lost game from the 90s, but plays like a modern platformer. Taking inspiration from Japanese adventure games like Wonder Boy in Monster World and Zelda II, Aggelos hurls you into a vibrant fantasy world ripe for exploring. You are an adventurer who, after rescuing a princess, is tasked with defending the Kingdom of Lumen from extradimensional beings of great evil. In order to succeed, you must find four magical artifacts to seal the dimensional gateway connecting both worlds.

A Blast from the Past. Aggelos features pixel graphics and music that perfectly simulates retro games while still feeling like a modern game.

A Wild World. Explore a non-linear storyline that unfolds as you gain new abilities. Venture into forests, mountains, deep caverns, and ancient ruins in an open world.

Become a hero. Gain magical abilities as you grow in experience, allowing you to chain devastating attacks that will lay waste to a screen full of enemies.

A Plethora of Quests. Take on side-quests to aid the folks of Lumen, or follow the main story to face colossal bosses that are waiting for you in their lairs. Only you stand in the way of the complete destruction of Lumen. Pick up your sword and be the hero the kingdom needs!
