During a time of war and political uncertainty in Auros, disputes between factions erupt and threaten to bring destruction to the whole system. Warborn lets you experience this war through the eyes of four different commanders across a story-driven campaign. Each of those commanders represents a different faction and they all have unique powers and traits that favor certain playstyles.

In Warborn you will command a group of soldiers clad in Variable Armour, a technologically advanced combat suit that allows them to unleash devastating attacks with their weapons. You will enemies in tactical battles where you will deploy your units on a battlefield of hexagonal area tiles that represents the combat map. Each of your units has different attacks and skills and using a limited number of action and movement points you will have to achieve certain objectives to complete each mission successfully.

Inspired by the mech anime series from the 90s, Warborn includes both Skirmish and Multiplayer modes for those that prefer fast battles instead of playing through the campaign. The game also includes a complete map editor that will allow you to create your own scenarios and play them against the computer or other players.
