Starfield

Starfield is a new action role-playing game from the creators of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. The story of the game takes place a few hundred years into the future. Humanity has finally made the jump to the stars, and a new colonization era has started. It's the year 2030, and humans are recovering from a cruel war between two major factions, the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective. The battle extended to the Settled Systems, but the area now enjoys a fragile peace. You are part of an organization dedicated to space exploration called Constellation, and you will be able to explore the Settled Systems freely. Your mission is to discover the deepest secrets of the galaxy, but you will have to deal with plenty of threats, including violent pirates and fanatical cultists of all kinds.

The game features a variety of innovative gameplay elements, including an expansive open world that players can explore as they progress through the story. Players will take on the role of an adventurer who must traverse the universe in order to uncover its secrets. Along the way, they'll encounter a variety of characters, creatures, and locations as they unravel the mysteries of Starfield.

Starfield includes an impressive range of exploration mechanics that let players discover the Settled Systems and interact with its inhabitants in any way they choose. They can abide by the law and become explorers, take the role of space pirates, or smuggle goods across the galaxy. Also, they can customize their own spaceships to adapt them to their needs and explore over a thousand planets that will be different in each game.

Players can expect a range of novelties when playing Starfield, including dynamic weather systems, detailed crafting systems, and unique combat mechanics. Additionally, players will be able to customize their character with various weapons and armor sets as they progress through the game.

In addition to its innovative gameplay features, Starfield also boasts an intriguing story that promises to keep players engaged throughout their journey. When you finish your first playthrough, there is a New Game Plus mode awaiting for you with even more chanllenges and surprises.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I seamlessly transition between planetary surfaces and space, and are there any loading screens during these transitions?
Yes, while there are loading screens between different star systems and some planet landings, the game offers seamless transitions between space and the surface of planets once you're within a system.
How detailed is the ship customization, and does it affect gameplay beyond aesthetics?
Ship customization is extensive, allowing changes to internal modules, weapons, and structural components. This impacts your ship's stats like cargo capacity, weapon power, shield strength, and overall maneuverability, directly affecting combat and exploration capabilities.
Are there consequences for actions in the game's factions, and how do these choices affect future mission availability?
Yes, choices within faction storylines affect your standing with them and with rival factions. Your decisions can close off questlines, unlock new ones, and impact the availability of specific missions and rewards.
How does the resource gathering and crafting system work, and what role do outposts play in this process?
You gather resources by scanning planets and extracting them with specialized tools. Outposts allow you to establish automated extraction, crafting, and research facilities, streamlining resource management and production.
Can I pilot multiple ships, and if so, how is ship management and crew allocation handled?
You can own and pilot multiple ships. Ship management involves selecting your active ship, assigning crew members to boost stats and abilities, and managing your ship's inventory and storage.
What kind of procedural generation is used in the game, and what aspects are procedurally generated versus handcrafted?
Procedural generation is used to create the vast majority of planets, including their landscapes, resource distribution, and points of interest. However, major settlements, quest locations, and key story elements are handcrafted for a more detailed and curated experience.
How important is the oxygen and environmental hazard mechanic during exploration, and how is it managed?
Oxygen management is critical for survival on many planets. You must monitor your oxygen supply while exploring and fighting, and consider environmental hazards like extreme temperatures or toxic atmospheres. You manage oxygen by using oxygen tanks, suits, and finding shelter.
Can I engage in ground combat with ship weaponry, or do I need to disembark for that?
Ground combat is primarily handled on foot, though your ship's weaponry can be utilized in specific circumstances, such as orbital strikes, during certain missions or encounters.
Does the game feature a morality system, and does this impact the story and interactions with NPCs?
While not a rigid morality system, your actions have consequences. Choices influence relationships with factions and characters, which, in turn, impacts mission availability and the overall story progression.
How does the game handle fast travel, and are there limitations or costs associated with it?
Fast travel is available but not unlimited. You can fast travel between locations you've already visited, such as planets, settlements, or your ship, and you will need to ensure you have enough fuel for the journey.

Microsoft/Bethesda is selling a dream, and while some bugs are to be expected, as with all games, the ton of mods that will be arriving will more than make up for this. As the new spearhead of Game Pass, I think Microsoft will be pulling out all the stops on its follow-up. In short, for me it's preco and I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I am a fan of all things space and sci-fi, so I will be sure to add Starfield to my library. Unlike many though, I'm avoiding getting carried away with enthusiasm because first I want to make sure the game runs well and without any particular problems (I still have the launch si Fallout76 on my mind...so let's take it slow)

I want to be confident about the quality of the game, but I'm just afraid, given what Bethesda has released in recent years. In any case, it's certain to be full of bugs, but that's to be expected (even if it shouldn't become the norm).

Um dos mais fortes candidatos a jogo do ano, se for realmente como os que tiveram cópias para review dizem, estou ansioso para poder jogar. O que realmente espero deste jogo é boa jogabilidade e missões interessantes.
