Clockwork Empires is a simulation game taking place in a steampunk and unwelcoming universe. You play as a colonial bureaucrat sent by the Empire to build a border colony. You design the buildings and their contents from A to Z, manage the undisciplined population, and make crucial decisions when the Occult Investigator presents itself for a surprise inspection. It is up to you to ensure the success of this colony populated by ambitious ambassadors, brave soldiers, and oppressed workers who work and live in workshops, mines, scientific laboratories, richly decorated houses, farms, chapels, pubs and more! But be careful - each settler is a unique individual with his own personality, his own motives, his secrets and his particular desires that must be met in order to avoid terrible consequences, ranging from occult rituals to cannibalism. Everything will depend on your management. Dig for ore, cut the trees, grow cabbage, stir the beer and prevent the population from devouring each other! Be wary of everything: fishmen, cults, cannibalism, and other dangers await your settlers.
