Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are the first installments in the newest, seventh generation of Pokémon games. Both Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are role-playing video games that revolve around capturing and training creatures known as Pokémon. Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon added 81 new and interesting Pokémon species to the franchise for the player to capture and train. Some new features such as the Alolan forms of the previous generation Pokémon were added, immensely powerful moves called Z-Moves were implemented, and they are devastating attacks that will destroy your enemies without much trouble. Mighty new creatures called the Ultra Beasts were also added. Battle and training mechanics were updated to smooth out the gaming experience of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and the polygonal 3D graphics were improved to provide a nicer visual experience. The mechanic known as Mega Evolution from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y stayed in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. While Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are two mostly idenpendant games, their plot is almost identical, and of course, trading Pokémon between these two games is possible.
