The Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has officially revealed Mega Zeraora, giving fans their first full look at the Electric-type’s upgraded form. Set to launch on December 10, 2025, the expansion continues the game’s strong emphasis on Mega Evolution, with multiple new Megas already confirmed — and more expected in the next trailer.
Mega Zeraora features a more feral design, with deep black fur accented by pale blue energy protrusions across its body. While it retains its pure Electric typing, leaked stats suggest it will be a devastating mixed attacker, boasting major increases to Attack, Special Attack, and Speed.

According to newly released trailer, Mega Zeraora won’t be an easy catch. The official description notes that “getting Mega Zeraora for your team will be a little difficult,” hinting at either a time-gated mechanic — similar to other Megas in Pokémon Legends: Z-A — or a late-game encounter tied to the DLC’s main storyline. The DLC’s setting, Hyperspace Lumiose, will feature wild Pokémon above level 100 for the first time, making it a fitting backdrop for acquiring such a powerful new form.
Alongside Mega Zeraora, dataminers and earlier leaks strongly indicate that the DLC will introduce up to 19 new Mega Evolutions, including Mega Darkrai, Mega Heatran, Mega Raichu X and Y, Mega Baxcalibur, Mega Chimecho, and more. All previously revealed Megas have aligned with the initial leak, further reinforcing the list’s credibility.
With another trailer confirmed before launch, fans are anticipating reveals like Mega Lucario Y, especially given Korrina’s return and her role as a Mega Evolution specialist.
And as excitement builds for the DLC, it’s worth recalling Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s strong launch performance — the game sold 5.8 million copies in its first week, becoming one of the Nintendo Switch 2’s biggest debuts.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC launches on December 10, and Mega Zeraora is poised to become one of its biggest highlights — assuming players can overcome the challenges required to unlock it.
