WWE 2K26 delivers big with its massive roster
WWE fans, it’s that time again—WWE 2K26 has officially dropped, and yeah, it actually feels like one of those releases worth checking out right away. No weird wait-and-see energy this time. You boot it up, jump into a match, and it just clicks. It’s not trying to completely reinvent the series, but it doesn’t need to. It just feels fuller, smoother, and more fun straight out of the gate.
The first thing that really hits you is the roster. It’s huge. Like, scroll-for-a-while huge. With over 400 Superstars and Legends, you can set up pretty much any matchup you’ve ever thought about. Want to mix current stars with old-school icons? Go for it. Want to build a completely chaotic custom show with random picks? That works too. It gives you that sandbox feeling where you’re not limited, and that’s honestly where the game shines the most.
So much to do, it’s kind of ridiculous
Once you get past the roster, the modes keep you busy. The Showcase this year focuses on CM Punk, and it’s actually a fun ride through his career, especially if you like rewriting history a bit. Then there’s Universe Mode, which feels more flexible now, letting you mess around with drafts, rivalries, and your own version of WWE without fighting the system.
If you’re more into progression and storytelling, MyRISE is still there and easy to get into, while MyGM scratches that management itch if you like being the one calling the shots behind the scenes. And for players who enjoy collecting and building over time, MyFACTION is still doing its thing.
The game doesn’t stop at launch either. The Season Pass is already lined up to bring in extra wrestlers, arenas, and content down the line. So even if you feel like you’ve seen everything, there’s always something new around the corner to pull you back in.
At the end of the day, WWE 2K26 feels like a game that knows what players want: more options, more freedom, and fewer headaches. It’s not perfect, but it’s easy to pick up and hard to put down once you start creating your own chaos.
