WWE 2K26 officially launches in this week, also bringing a major shift in how the Season Pass operates. Instead of traditional DLC packs, 2K has introduced the Ringside Pass system this year.

Is the WWE 2K26 Season Pass actually worth buying?

Simply understand that this year's Season Pass is essentially different from previous iterations. It's a bundle containing six Ringside Premium Passes. Much like a "Battle Pass" in modern games (such as Fortnite or Call of Duty), you play the game to accumulate RXP and unlock reward milestones (totaling 120 rewards per season).

Each season features a Free track (available to all players) and a Premium track (exclusive to Season Pass holders). The DLC Superstars are located on the Premium track (typically within the first 20 levels), but you must play to unlock them. The Season Pass can be purchased separately and it provides players with a total of 24 new Superstars along with various personas and attires. It kicks off with Season 1 (March 12), featuring AAA stars like El Hijo del Vikingo and Psycho Clown, followed by Season 2 (April), which brings together Demolition and Kelly Kelly.

By Season 3 (June), players will welcome Matt Cardona and Torrie Wilson, while Season 4 (July) draws attention with the Hardy Boyz and Jelly Roll. The year wraps up with Season 5 (September), including Bam Bam Bigelow and Brie Bella, and Season 6 (October), featuring giants like Earthquake and Typhoon.

Furthermore, if you purchase the deluxe versions of the game, you will own the Season Pass immediately. These editions include:

Monday Night War Edition: Includes all 6 Ringside Pass seasons and exclusive packs like the WrestleMania 42 pack.
Attitude Era Edition: Includes Ringside Passes from Season 1 to Season 4 only.
King of Kings Edition: Includes only the Season 1 Ringside Pass.

Finally, in addition to the Superstars, the Season Pass offers:

MyFACTION Content: Special persona cards.
Attires & Moves: New CAS (Create-A-Superstar) parts and exclusive move sets themed to each season.
