The Worldsoul Saga kicks off for all players with The War Within
After a few days where those who bought special editions of the expansion had early access to its content, World of Warcraft: The War Within is finally available to all players. As the first chapter in the Worldsoul Saga the latest expansion for the popular MMORPG is the beginning of a new era. Xal'atath, Harbinger of the Void rises as a new threat capable of manipulating Nerubians so they attack Azeroth from its depths. Meanwhile, Horde and Alliance will have to unite once more to face these challenging enemies. However, this is just the beginning of a series of events that will span three expansions.
A new beginning
World of Warcraft: The War Within introduces significant novelties to the long-lived MMORPG, including a new playable race, and Heroic Skill Trees that offer new ways of customizing and playing every class. New quests, zones to explore, powerful items to discover, and fearsome enemies await players in the depths of a planet that faces an uncertain future once more. The endless cycle of World of Warcraft and its expansions begins again, promising to be slightly different this time. We have seen it for many years. Players come back massively, enjoy the new content for several months, and then their number starts dwindling away until Blizzard releases more content via free updates. It's a well-known ride on a familiar rollercoaster that promises to be more exciting than ever.
Overall, the content in The War Within seems solid enough to keep players busy for many months. New types of adventures that you can run solo will surely be the favourite of those who don't want to mingle with a community that sometimes puts too much pressure on the players. It's yet to be seen if the Worldsoul Saga as a whole will make this journey last longer, but The War Within definitely looks worthy enough for World of Warcraft veterans to dust off their weapons and armour and return to the game once more. As usual, our comparator can provide you with the best discounts to buy World of Warcraft: The War Within and visit the depths of Azeroth in a new epic adventure.
