The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe coming early 2022

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally (sort of) have a release date for The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. A bold re-imagining of the original, this story is said to have longer stories and even more endings than the original. You can check out the trailer here if you want to get more confused.

Initially announced in 2018 with a release date in 2019, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has been moved several times but now seems to have settled for an early 2022 release. As with the original game, you follow the exploits of corporate rat Stanley, who wanders a seemingly endless office labyrinth accompanied by the eponymous Narrator, who comments on every action Stanley takes. Developer Crows Crows Crows stated that the re-imagining will have updated graphics, as well as more choices, endings, secrets, and broken rules. Considering the original game had 19 endings, this will be quite a feat. The maze will be so big, it will give the Oldest House from Control a run for its money.

Game developer Davey Wreden has this to say:

It's a very... weird game. It's different than the original Stanley Parable, sort of. We wanted even veterans of the game to feel surprised. I'm glad we took this path.

He also notes that they are still performing extensive playtesting and submission for certification, hence why they haven’t committed to a specific release date.  
 

When will The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Release?

Crows Crows Crows is probably not lying when they say that the game will be out sometime in early 2022. Probably.
