The tiny hobbit is one of the most important characters in the books and his story is used to explain how Sauron's ring ends in the hands of Bilbo Baggings. He plays a major role throughout the whole story and the duality between his two personalities adds quite a dramatic tint to the narrative. Therefore, no matter how unsightly, devious and traitorous he is, he is the perfect protagonist for a The Lord of the Rings video game.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will put you in the shoes of the hobbit as he tries to escape from Barad Dur. The Dark Lord's stronghold in Mordor is infested with all kinds of evil creatures, including orcs, wargs, and spiders. Since Gollum is not exactly a proficient combatant, he will have to do his best to avoid enemies and put to the best use his climbing and subterfuge skills in order to avoid Sauron's gaze and escape this cursed place.
