Mortal Kombat 1's latest patch enhances its gameplay

Not everything is adding new characters to Mortal Kombat 1 for NetherRealm Studios. The fans are mostly satisfied with the state of the game right now (not on Nintendo Switch) but there is always room for improvement and the developer knows it. On the occasion of the celebration of Halloween, the studio has released a new patch for Mortal Kombat 1 that adds some novelties to the game but also comes with several improvements that result in a better gameplay experience.

The in-game patch notes for Mortal Kombat 1 update 0.134 include the following:

• Halloween Fatality added to the Premium Store
• Moves can now be pinned to the HUD
• In-game Ping/Connection Indicator can now be enabled in Online Options
• Added ability to mute Voice Chat and Microphone via the Main Menu under the Audio Settings and Pause Menu Settings in an online match
• Fixed cases where the yellow notification for New items would not clear
• General Gameplay Bug Fixes

With those changes, NetherRealm addresses some problems already reported by the players, like the dominance of certain Kameo assists in the meta (we are talking about you, Cyrax). The developer has not detailed what all the changes entail but the players are already experiencing them.

There will probably be more fixes coming to Mortal Kombat 1 soon. An increasing number of players are complaining about the game taking more and more space in their hard drives. It seems that every time the game crashes it leaves a massive file that weighs 1 GB on your hard drive. Hopefully, NetherRealm will fix it in the coming days and will have more time to start looking into the performance issues of Mortal Kombat 1 on Nintendo Switch.
