Although there are many people that have played the original Mafia, the new Mafia: Definitive Edition will offer a completely different experience. This edition is more than the same game with a new skin, and it's a complete remake of the original title with new features and graphics. As you can see in the video, there is a huge difference between Mafia: Definitive Edition and the original game. Lost Haven really looks like a mid-western city in 1930 where the prohibition has led to the proliferation of criminal organizations that fight for the control of different aspects of their "business". In that scenario, it's quite difficult to keep yourself on the good side of the law, especially when you are in the wrong place at the wrong moment or if you are in need of money. Becoming a member of the mob seems to be the only option for a taxi driver like Tommy Angelo, and he will have to do his best to survive in a very dangerous world.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is full of new enhancements, including an orchestral score, new cinematics, and also new features that were not available before, like the possibility of driving motorcycles. The game is slated for release on September 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and PC via the Epic Games Store. It's included in the Mafia Trilogy compilation, but you can also purchase it separately.
