Lies of P: new trailer shows Pinnochio creaking out some moves

Lies of P, a game that features the classic character Pinocchio in a darker guise, was announced again during Gamescom's initial presentation. 

The title is a production of the Neowiz studio. It features third-person action with clear elements from Bloodborne and other souls-like games, like Thymesia. Lies of P setting is inspired by the classic children's tale. The event also showed off the announcement trailer, action scenes, the steampunk aesthetic, and part of the game's story.

In Lies of P, the player controls Pinocchio, a mechanoid boy who must go on a quest to find his father, Geppetto. The city of Krat is full of twisted and bloodlust creatures. Pinocchio wakes at an abandoned station with only a single note telling him to find Mr. Gepetto. Your overall goal is to leave behind your mechanical roots and become human. The game's foundation bases itself on the original children's tale, but with a splash of somberness and relentless violence.

Players can swap Pinocchio's body parts to gain new abilities and deal with the various threats that come his way. The customization of the hero will be one of the adventure's strong points, as demonstrated in the preview. Lies of P will also have elements involving lies in the game. For those who don't remember, the tale of Pinocchio says that he is an artificial boy whose nose grows when he lies. According to the official website, you must always lie to others if you hope to become human.
