Leaks about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 keep piling up

Despite the rather disappointing results of Call of Duty: Vanguard, Activision seems to be working hard to take back the franchise to its rightful position with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Everything we know about the next installment in the FPS franchise points to a spectacular release that will make the game a hit. Not only it will bring back Captain John Price and his men in an epic campaign starring Task Force 141, but it will also add new gameplay modes and enhancements, outstanding graphics, and plenty of novelties. 

The announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was received with joy by the fans, who are eager to know more details about the game. the expectation about its release is so high that it's the subject of many rumors and leaks. Following the leak of some multiplayer footage, now the focus of the community has turned to certain information about the maps that will be available in the game. As it usually happens in cases like this one, the information has been reported via Twitter, and it reveals that developer Infinity Ward would add all the maps in the original Modern Warfare 2 would be present in the new game. These maps wouldn't be available for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but they would be added as post-launch content at a later date, probably as part of Year 2.

Infinity Ward is keeping its lips tight about many aspects and features of the upcoming game, and it's quite unlikely that we get any official confirmation on this matter. The idea is not bad at all. The old Modern Warfare 2 was quite popular back in the day and, surely, many players would love to return to these scenarios that they know so well.
