Modern Warfare 2's hardcore mode is coming soon

With so many Call of Duty fans waiting for the launch of Modern Warfare 2, its launch was bound to be a success. Countless fans took part in the beta and the level of excitement for the release was very high. Whether the game has managed to meet the expectation generated or not is a different matter. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is not free of bugs right now and it's missing some features, but it shouldn't be too long before everything starts moving on will the beginning of the game's first season.

On the problematic side, there are some players experiencing crashes and Infinity Ward has temporarily disabled the attachment tuning system in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to prevent those players with five of them equipped from suffering this issue. It's also been reported that PC and Xbox players don't have the option to turn off cross-play, which seems to be exclusive to PlayStation consoles. It may be a matter of player preference but it would have been great if these players knew it earlier if it's not a bug. If it is, we are sure that Infinity Ward is already monitoring it and will come up with a fix in the coming days. 

Modern Warfare 2 Tier 1

Those players that think that the game is too easy for them will have to wait a bit longer for the release of its hardcore mode. Under the name of Tier 1, this difficulty mode will become available when the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 season kicks off on November 16. Then, all players will have access to the Tier 1 playlists which will enhance multiplayer for those looking for a bigger challenge with a "more challenging experience compared to traditional Multiplayer. Operators have less health and limited HUD elements, and friendly fire is on. These elements are consistent in all game modes that support the Tier 1 variant."

The Season 01 will also bring the addition of the Battle Pass and the launch of Warzone 2.0, which will add a new extraction mode to the free-to-play battle royale version of Call of Duty.
