Insurgency: Sandstorm receives new content in a free update
Insurgency: Sandstorm is quite a complete tactical first-person shooter that offers a great experience to the players through its lethal close-quarters combat. This team-based multiplayer game is the acclaimed sequel to Insurgency and enhances many aspects of the innovative gameplay in the original game to deliver an experience that has captivated more than 5 million players already. But everything can be improved, and developer New World Interactive has just launched a new update for Insurgency: Sandstorm that expands the content in the game with a new map, new weapons, new customization options for your character, and a brand new gameplay mode.
Operation Breakway brings a number of interesting additions to Insurgency: Sandstorm. The first one is a map called Tell that is a reimagination of a classic map in the original Insurgency. It's playable in Push, Domination, Firefight, Checkpoint, Hardcore Checkpoint, and Outpost modes, and it will allow you to fight in a tight urban environment that is quite different from other maps in the game.
The new Insurgency: Sandstorm update also includes two new assault rifles for the Rifleman, Demolitions, Commander, and Observer classes, as well as three types of underbarrel shotguns that will allow players to modify their weapons so they pack an extra punch in close combat situations. There are three new foregrips available too, which can be used to improve your aiming down, reloading, and drawing times respectively. Finally, there's a variety of new cosmetic items for Security and Insurgent teams that will give you more possibilities when customizing your character. Some of them are unlockable for free and some others can be purchased in-game.
Operation Breakway is already available in the form of a free update for Insurgency: Sandstorm. If you don't have the game yet and you are looking for a thrilling FPS experience, you can find it at the best price through our comparator anytime.
