Horizon Forbidden West's multiplayer footage has been leaked

Horizon Forbidden West is one of Sony's flagships on PlayStation consoles. The second chapter in Aloy's adventures is far more advanced than Horizon Zero Dawn and expands the world in many ways. The game features a new story, new lands to discover, new tribes to interact with, and a huge new threat to Aloy and her people. These have been enough to catch the eye of many fans of the first game but also plenty of newcomers to the franchise. Sony already announced that it was expanding the franchise, and multiplayer has always been in the mind of the developers. Bringing Horizon Forbidden West to a new level of interaction between players would open plenty of possibilities and almost turn the open-world adventure into something completely different, pretty much along the lines of what Red Dead Online did for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Of course, such a feature has generated tremendous hype among the fans of the series, who are eager to know more about it. It's no surprise then that when a video showing footage from an alpha multiplayer test of Horizon Forbidden West multiplayer appeared on the official subreddit of the game plenty of players rushed to watch it and leave their opinions. The test supposedly took place at some point last summer. The quality is not the best but it reveals the scenarios, characters, and more. 

Considering that the video is very old, the co-op multiplayer mode for Horizon Forbidden West should look far better now. Guerrilla Games has been silent about this matter since the game was released. Therefore, this leak may come as a good opportunity to reveal official information about it. In any case, Horizon Forbidden West is still one of the best games on PlayStation consoles, and it will continue to be that for a long time.
