Dragon Age 4 would be launching on PC and next-gen consoles only

The level of dedication that some fans put into discovering things about their favorite games is amazing. If it's a game like Dragon Age 4, the huge number of followers of the series eager to know more details about the upcoming installment always makes it easier to discover information. That is exactly what has happened this time. According to the Linkedin profile of Dragon Age 4 lead designer Daniel Nordlander, the game would only be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. User Faizan Shaikh has published this information on Twitter, and several sources have reported this as true later.

If it turns out to be accurate, Dragon Age 4 won't be playable on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, leaving out a sizeable number of players that continue to use said consoles. This may not be an issue since the game won't be arriving anytime soon. In fact, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed this when talking about the publisher's earnings in the past.

"You should assume that Dragon Age—it's out there, we've talked about it publicly that it's in the works—it probably comes after fiscal 22."

That leaves us with very little information about the game that has been revealed so far. It seems that Dragon Age 4 would take place in Tevinter, won't feature multiplayer elements, and will probably arrive in 2023. When it comes to footage about the game, we only had the opportunity of watching a teaser trailer during the 2020 Game Awards, but it's been more than enough to maintain the interest of the fans, who continue digging information about Dragon Age 4 on a daily basis.
